Description

Overview
The Vision® air handling unit is a semi-custom indoor air handler engineered for improved indoor air quality, low sound levels, high operating efficiency and reduced mechanical room footprint. It uses patented construction for enhanced thermal performance and low leakage and offers options to mitigate air contamination, including advanced micro‑filtration, bacteria-defeating UV lights, mold‑resistant drain pans and anti‑microbial liners.

Models
  • CAC
  • CAH

Gas Phase Air Cleaning Technology
Gas Phase Air Cleaning employs sorbent filtration to remove CO2, VOCs and other gaseous contaminants by adsorption while allowing oxygen and water vapor to pass. When applied under ASHRAE 62.1 IAQ Procedure (IAQP), it can reduce required outdoor air volume, simplify retrofits, enhance indoor air quality and cut HVAC energy use by up to 30%.

Industry‑first Space Saver
The factory‑installed ECM fan array reduces cabinet footprint by approximately 46% compared to direct‑drive cabinets with VFDs, enabling tighter mechanical layouts and space savings.

Boosted Efficiency
Optional energy recovery conditions and transfers sensible and latent energies between exhaust and ventilation streams, recovering up to 70% of heat and moisture to increase operating efficiency. Combined with the ECM fan array, this lowers ventilation conditioning energy and operating costs.

Improved Air Quality and Comfort
Vision® distributes treated fresh air with multiple conditioning options—advanced micro‑filtration, bacteria‑defeating UV lights, mold‑resistant drain pans and anti‑microbial liners—to reduce contamination and improve occupant comfort.
