Air heaters are high-power heaters used to heat large-volume spaces such as industrial buildings, warehouses, workshops, sports arenas, etc.Technologies
The three principal types of air heater differ according to their energy source.
- Hot water and steam heaters circulate hot water or steam through a heat exchanger coil.
- In electric models, the exchanger contains a resistance element.
- Gas heaters use a burner to heat the air passing through the exchanger.
Their blowers can be helical or centrifugal.
The range of on-site energy sources (electricity, gas, hot water/steam network) and regulations governing the activity in question will determine the choice of heater.
A thermal study of the area to be heated, its size and layout will dictate the number, power and flow rate of the heaters.
