Description

Overview
The GasTrac CGT process air heater family (models 150–700) uses natural gas combustion to provide controlled drying air for resin and polymer drying applications. Designed for retrofit to existing electric dryers, the GasTrac delivers indirect heating through a heat exchanger to prevent process-air contamination while reducing operating energy costs relative to electric resistance heaters.

Key features
  • Ceramic/fiber matrix burner for high heat transfer with very low emissions
  • Indirect heating: process air is heated around a heat exchanger and never contacts combustion airflow
  • Compact, space-saving design to simplify installation and placement
  • Retrofit-capable to replace electric resistance heaters on existing drying systems

Frequently asked items
  • Clean radiant heat burning — Ceramic/fiber matrix burner couples efficient heat transfer with low emissions.
  • Space-saving construction — Compact footprint allows flexible placement in production areas.
  • Unique airflow system — Process airflow is heated indirectly around the heat exchanger and never mixes with combustion gases, avoiding contamination of the dried resin.
