The PDP 1000 volumetric pumps are innovative, compact, versatile and precise 2K fluid dispensing systems. The special screw pump enables controlled dispensing for 2K fluids. The system offers greater efficiency, repeatability and versatility than any piston or gear pump system. The mixing ratio and the volume delivered can be set at any time without mechanical intervention and depend on the number of revolutions and the rotation speed of the rotor. The pumps are driven by a geared motor with encoder and allow volumetric distribution in strips, droplets or filling of a determined volume with the highest precision, without being affected by the pressure of the inlet fluid, viscosity and temperature of the material. OPERATING PRINCIPLE The two pumps are controlled by the controller, which, once the desired resin-to-hardener ratio is set, automatically calculates the acceleration ramps and individual pump speeds. This ensures not only perfect proportioning but also simultaneous dosing of both components. The mixing block, available in various shapes and sizes, allows for the attachment of different types of static mixers. The optional pressure control system at each pump’s outlet helps detect any unwanted catalyzation in the mixing block or mixer, making the dosing process more robust and controlled.
