Description

Sheet filtering (or sterile filtering) is an alternative to thermal treatments and serves the purpose of removing all the micro-organisms, without having to heat the product. The difference in relation to thermal treatments lies in that filtering does not denature the enzymes contained in the beer, which are partially removed together with other proteins. Della Toffola’s sheet filters are the outcome of over thirty years of experience with this type of technology and they are intended for filtering numerous types of product: beer, wine, syrups, fruit juices, vinegar, spirits, water, oil and chemical, pharmaceutical and industrial products. With the aid of specific accessories, the filters can be adapted to work in a great variety of sectors, always with excellent results. They are reliable and durable and made entirely of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel, including the frame, valves, tray and accessories. They are user-friendly and particularly quick and easy to start up. There are sightglasses on the inlet and outlet for the product being filtered to enable an optimal management of the process. These filters are available in models with filtering plates from 400 x 400 to 1200 x 1200 mm in size.
