OverviewIndicating measuring instruments for diameter measurement of conical bores, external cones and direct 45° chamfer measurement. Available in internal taper (IKT), external taper (AKT) and chamfer gauge (KT / KT‑B) versions. Options for mechanical or digital indicators and wireless data transfer.
Internal Taper Gauges (IKT)- IKT60: for cones < 60° — measuring range 0.5–121 mm (multiple instruments may be required to cover full range)
- IKT90: for cones > 60° and < 90° — measuring range 0.5–120 mm (multiple instruments may be required)
- IKT127: for cones > 90° and < 127° — measuring range 0.5–121 mm (multiple instruments may be required)
- IKT105: special gauge for countersink diameter in rivet holes; 100° angle for aerospace applications — measuring range 0.5–20 mm; zeroing performed at factory or with setting master
- Factory calibration or calibration with setting master available
External Taper Gauges (AKT)- AKT60: for cones < 60° — measuring range 5–121 mm (multiple instruments may be required)
- AKT90: for cones > 60° and < 90° — measuring range 5–120 mm (multiple instruments may be required)
- AKT127: for cones > 90° and < 127° — measuring range 5–120 mm (multiple instruments may be required)
- Factory calibration or calibration with setting master available
Chamfer Gauges (KT / KT‑B)- KT: for straight chamfers, external diameters and slots from 16 mm
- KT‑B: designed for bores from Ø28 mm
- Direct measurement of 45° chamfers on rectangular and cylindrical workpieces, including bores and slots
- Standard KT / KT‑B delivered with setting master and factory calibration
Applications & Industry SolutionsDIATEST gauges are designed for precision inspection tasks in industries such as aerospace, automotive and general manufacturing. Instruments provide reliable measurements on flat and curved surfaces; options include industrial radio (wireless) data transfer for process integration.
Example measurement tasks- Countersink diameter of rivet holes
- Rivet head flushness
- Burr overlap at hole edges
- Rivet hole depth (material thickness)
- Rivet hole diameter
- Other chamfer and cone diameter quality-control measurements
Indicators and Data TransferIKT, AKT, KT and KT‑B are offered with shock‑protected mechanical dial indicators (0.01 mm graduation) as standard and can be fitted with digital indicator MDU options (0.01 mm / .0005" or high‑precision 0.001 mm models).
Digital options include:
- MDU‑A125: high‑precision digital indicator, resolution 0.001 mm, freely programmable, real‑time wireless or cable data output
- MDU‑EC125: economical digital indicator, resolution 0.01 mm; angle display via factor input; no data output on the economical model
Measured values can be recorded and transferred via industrial radio (DIAWIRELESS) or cable. Optional IKT‑OS versions are available without stop bars; custom designs and special angles on request.
