Overview
The Diefenbach iONIC filter press is industrial liquid‑solid separation equipment engineered for dewatering highly acidic and corrosive sludges. How Diefenbach iONIC Filter Presses Work
The iONIC uses recessed or membrane filter plates that form filtration chambers when closed. Acidic slurry is pumped into the press from both ends (dual feed) to achieve uniform chamber filling. Solids are retained on filter cloths mounted on the plates while filtrate passes through the cloths and exits the press. At the end of a cycle the plates open and the solid cakes are discharged.
