OverviewThe shaft platform is a crane-lifted climbing formwork system designed for inside-shafts (lift shafts, staircases). The platform and shaft formwork can be repositioned in a single crane cycle and support wall formwork from the inside of the building core. It can be combined with Framax stripping corner I to allow opening and closing of the formwork without a crane.
Key benefits- High adaptability to variable shaft widths thanks to telescoping shaft beams.
- Quick repositioning: the whole unit can be relocated in one crane cycle, reducing labour and crane time.
- Simple mounting: suspension-mounting on the structure using a gravity pawl and a main beam head; no expendable anchors required.
- Efficient formwork handling: Framax stripping corner I enables setting up and stripping the formwork without crane assistance.
- Enclosed-platform option provides an internal working area for execution of shaft works.
System integration / ApplicationThe shaft platform is intended to be used with climbing formwork systems (e.g. MF240) for building-core construction. Typical uses include:
- Supporting wall formwork for lift shafts and staircases.
- Providing a working platform for safe access and execution of internal shaft works.
- Serving as a repositioning platform where wall formwork is only slightly detached from the concrete.
Documents & user informationProduct leaflets, short instructions and user information booklets are available in multiple languages, including safe-working instructions and parts lists.
