Work podium Xsafe plus

Overview
The pre-assembled fold-out working platforms with integrable front/rear and side railings, ladders and self-closing manhole lids are ready for immediate use and significantly improve site safety. The system is compatible with Framax Xlife framed and column formwork units, Framax Xlife plus and wall formwork FF20, Top 50 and Top 100.

Components and features

• Xsafe plus supporting strut: allows platform inclination adjustment by ±5° so the work deck remains horizontal on inclined formwork and transfers forces when panel struts are connected.
• Side railing: integrable for left or right use; closure gaps between platforms can be telescoped in 5 cm increments up to 50 cm and shifted rearwards for access.
• Counter railing (mounted ahead): provides fall protection before stepping onto the platform so side protection is complete on all sides.
• Ladders and manholes: integrable telescoping ladder and self-closing manhole provide hazard-free access; ladder range 155 cm to 271 cm.
• Handrail extension: secures full protection when platforms are enlarged with extensions.
• Framax adapter XP: enables mounting of protective grating XP while unit is flat; handrail post can tilt by 15° to give extra space for concreting operations.
• Lifting adapter and lifting waler: lifting adapter allows mounting on already upright framed formwork; lifting waler permits lifting and repositioning of large units together with the platform system (CE-marked, supplied with instructions).
• Swivel plate: allows delivery of large formwork units complete with platform when space is limited, reducing on-site assembly.
