Description

Description
The LT Series 2-passage rotary unions are engineered for air, gas and vacuum service and are intended for automation and robotic applications requiring compact, lightweight fluid transfer. These unions feature an all-aluminum construction with two independent flow passages that allow simultaneous transfer of different media. Standard models include threaded side connections on the shaft and housing; optional shaft O-ring face seal glands are available for flush mounting (must be specified at order). LT Series units are compatible with standard electrical slip rings to permit combined fluid and electrical transfer.

Notes
  • Minimum torque values are measured at zero pressure with oil/hydraulic media (or air/gas media for SPS Series). Torque required to rotate may increase with other media types or dry running.
  • Operational life depends on rotational speed and duty cycle; continuous operation near maximum speed reduces service life.
  • Applications with sustained temperatures above 220°F (105°C) or with water above 212°F (100°C) require alternative seal materials.
