Description

The EE451 measures accurately the temperature indoors and outdoors in building automation, HVAC and process control and enables weather-dependent temperature regulation. An optional display is available for the EE451 with analogue output. The T measured data is available on the voltage or current output, as well as on the RS485 interface with Modbus RTU. In addition, EE451 features a wide choice of sensing elements for passive T measurement. The compact and robust enclosure allows for easy and fast installation and unbiased detection of ambient temperature. An optional adapter and the free EE-PCS Product Configuration Software facilitate the setup and adjustment of the EE451. Enclosure - IP65 / NEMA 4X - External mounting holes - Bayonet screws - Mounting bracket Technical Data - Operating temperature: -40…70°C (-40…158 °F) - Accuracy active output: ±0.3 °C (±0.54 °F); ±0.1 °C (±0.18 °F) (TT2 version) - Analogue output: 0-10 V or 4-20 mA - Digital interface: RS485 with Modbus RTU - Protection class: IP65 / NEMA 4X - Supply: 24 V AC/DC Features - External mounting holes: Mounting with closed cover; Protection against construction site pollution - Bayonet screws: open/closed with a ¼ rotation - Mounting bracket: Distance to wall for correct measurement of ambient temperature - IP65 / NEMA 4X enclosure - Optional LC display: Visible area 38 x 20 mm (1.5" x 0.8") FAQ - What is the difference between a 2 wire and a 3 wire current output? Transmitter with "two-wire" technology receive the power from the process, and the signal is carried on return wire (closed current loop). With "three-wires" technology the power supply is separate from current output: 2 wires are the power supply and the third carries the signal.
