The uniquely designed VAP insertion style pitot is specially designed for use within any air flow duct. The pitot is inserted into an air stream in order to produce an accurate differential pressure output that enables precise air flow measurement or control of your process. The VAP/AES pitot is specially designed for the flow measurement of air that does not exceed 700 F (370 C) in temperature. The VAP/AES pitot is perfect for installation in air streams where the air is clean (the pitot is used in Superior Accuracy (SA) mode) and for air streams where the air does contain particulate (Particulate Applications (PA) mode). The pitot is built with multiple total and static sensing ports that are specifically located for a complete traverse of the duct for extremely accurate air flow measurement.
