Manually regulated clutches. Comprised of a felt pad actuated axially. The intermediate springs provide a feel that facilitates the absorption of irregularities. Ideal for rolls with diameters under 300 mm. Manually actuated via a threaded system, greater or lesser axial load is applied to the shaft using a fixed mechanism, a spring, and a felt pad that friction with the moving part of the shaft, achieving precise tension regulation. Note that for rolls with small diameters, brake adjustment should not generally be performed during the process.
