Description

The Cetrotec flue gas temperature monitor type 519 with 40°C switching point and 10 k resistance is approved for use in heat generating plants and is mounted with a flange on a free piece of stove pipe with a minimum diameter of 120 mm. Optional accessory for our KDS cable exhaust controls to enable an exhaust system when the furnace is cold without also having to open a window each time, POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS Control of the exhaust air system in rooms with open or closed fireplaces to prevent exhaust gases from being sucked back into the rooms when the fireplace is burning further monitoring and control tasks, e.g. control of the storage tank charging pump in connection with the KDS 110 or KDS 116 DESCRIPTION This exhaust gas temperature monitor refined by Elektrotechnik Schabus is designed quite specifically for use with the KDS cable exhaust controls. The KDS systems distinguish a deliberately opened contact from a cable break with the aid of a parallel-connected resistor of around 10 kOhm. Window contact and exhaust gas temperature monitor are connected in series. The negative state (window closed, oven burning) is produced in each case by the closed contact, the positive state (window open or oven cold) causes the control line to become highly resistive. Therefore, a window does not always have to be opened to operate the extractor hood, even though the oven may only be in operation very rarely. The pre-assembled 2 meter long temperature-resistant silicone cable can be extended with any 2-core cable if the heat area was reliably left during installation. FEATURES Approved for use in heat-generating systems, TÜV tested according to DIN EN 14597
