Elen angle sensors with integrated shaft and connector have simple and robust mechanics and are suitable for use in harsh environments. They are the ideal solution for installation in confined spaces and/or in applications where it is not necessary or possible to provide a cable outlet (e.g. when connection is made via existing external wiring). The principle of operation is that the contactless Hall sensitive element detects rotary movement by intercepting the magnetic field generated by a magnet rotating integrally with the shaft, and provides an output proportional to the angle of rotation.
