The CBR-10 electrostatic charging bar is designed to make a material adhere to a surface or to join two materials together. These charging bars are connected to a high-voltage generator which, by generating high voltage, creates ions (positive or negative) on the bar tips; as the material passes between the bar and a reference ground, it is pushed towards the ground itself, creating temporary adhesion.
CBR-10 charging bars have various industrial applications and are safe, as each tip is connected to the high voltage via a resistor to prevent sparks and accidental discharges, thus avoiding damage to the machine.
Installation of these antistatic bars is very simple, as they feature a slot on the back for nylon screws to ensure insulation from conductive parts.
