Description

E-78-S Series instruments are designed using new generationmicro-controllers. It can be used with NPN or PNP sensors. Theinstrument counts impulses from counter input. The countedvalue is multiplied by the PSCL1 parameter specified by theuser and displayed on the upper screen by dividing by PSCL2parameter. The value transferred to the display also checks therelays and the numeric output by comparing it with the valuesset by the user, Set1 and Set2. Using the RS-485 communicationport and the Modbus protocol, the instrument’s configurationparameters and results can be transmitted to other devices. It isalso used as a timer with the TIMER function on the instrument. BATCH CONTROL E-78-S series could be used as Batch Control devices. The bAtcHvalue found on the instrument is displayed on Autoset outputtypes after each Autoreset and on the bottom display on the mainscreen. The batch value changes in other forms, except for thebAtcH type found in the output types, but no control operationis performed. TIMER RELAY E-78-S series are also used as timer relay. It can be programmedas timer or counter according to the selected value in the trirCtparameter of the instrument. Control of relays and pulse outputaccording to set points is done as described in chapter “outputtypes”.
