The electronic temperature limiter "Smart Limiter" is used in potentially explosive areas when using an electrical heat tracing system with DIN rail mounting. It is characterised by its "smart" switching behaviour, i.e. it only switches off at the set maximum temperature if an excess temperature is measured and the system's temperature controller has not switched off.
