OverviewModule inclination, module height and distance between the lamellas of the MODULpack ENDEVION are configurable to suit specific process requirements and available tank area.
DescriptionThe equidistant lamella profiles of MODULpack ENDEVION precisely define the sedimentation path length and enable optimal solids separation. Non-parallel channel geometries increase the effective sedimentation path and reduce separation efficiency. Available channel spacing options allow selection of the most suitable lamella settler for particle size and process conditions.
Advantages of ENDEVION lamellas- Equidistant sedimentation surfaces enabling direct application of Hazen law
- V-shaped collection geometry for improved sludge collection and discharge
- Male–female interlocking system providing robust module assembly
- Customizable dimensions and inclination angles
- Self-supporting modules that do not require external frames, maximizing usable tank area
Ideal for circular tanksMODULpack ENDEVION lamellas are suitable for overloaded circular tanks and enable capacity increases without expanding the plant footprint by enlarging the sedimentation surface.
Installation configurations for circular tanks- Tangential configuration – Modules installed in a ring tangent to the tank perimeter; common for large tanks with limited exterior space.
- Radial configuration – Recommended when a larger portion of the tank must be covered; allows assembly of larger rings.
- Parallel configuration – For small tanks, modules are installed in parallel lines; modules contacting the circular perimeter are shaped for round layouts. A central opening can be provided for a sludge scraper shaft.
Applications- Sedimentation tanks (clarifiers) in wastewater and drinking water treatment and various industrial processes
- Primary sedimentation — efficient solids retention; automatic wash systems can be integrated to prevent sludge build-up in lamellas
- Secondary sedimentation — selection and design based on separated sludge volume; ENDEVION supports detailed evaluation for each case
- Secondary sedimentation after fixed-bed biological systems, rotating elements or large trickling filters — effective separation with limited sludge volumes, reducing construction and maintenance costs
- Advanced treatment stages — parallel lamellas separate precipitates and sludge from processes targeting micropollutants, pharmaceuticals, microplastics and residual phosphates
