The DI-GARD string wound pre-filtration filter cartridge comes with a variety of filter bag and filter cartridge replacements as well as housings to meet specific requirements. The cartridge is designed for applications such as service de-ionization, reverse osmosis, continuous de-ionization (CDI) systems, etc. This is a large void volume design that offers reliable performance and low-cost when it comes to filtration. The filter has a string-wound type design and is available in choices of industrial, surfactant-free polypropylene string, or cotton. The continuous filter winding offered by the cartridge comes in 40-, 30- or 20-inch lengths to prevent excessive drops in pressure or bypassing.
