A cartridge filter that is designed for a number of prefiltration applications, like service or portable deionization, reverse osmosis and continuous deionization systems. The ROGARD™ cartridge filter is manufactured by using graded-density, melt spun polypropylene media. It provides high contaminant holding capacity and an exceptional troughput. The materials used in construction are in accordance with food contact applications in Title 21 of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations. This product also complies with the EU Directive 2002/72/EC for plastic in food contact (in stimulants A, B, C, and D) and meets the criteria for USP Class VI Biological Tests for Plastics, thus insuring that no surfactants or coatings are able to interfere with the application.
