EXmatic 470 is an electro-pneumatic control unit designed to operate pneumatic retractable probe housings of the EXtract 8XX series. The unit includes an integrated connecting hose that groups all control tubing for simple plug-and-play installation. Combined with an EXtract 8XX retractable probe housing, the EXmatic 470 extends the sensor out of the process to a maintenance position, enables fully automatic cleaning cycles with up to three rinsing solutions, and allows safe removal of the sensor for inspection, calibration or replacement. Cleaning intervals and auxiliary functions are programmable. Output contacts enable connection to a DCS/PCS for external start and monitoring. The system is open and independent of any specific sensor transmitter.
