The hairdresser among oat processing machines: The SCHULE oat polisher completely and gently removes the fine hairs that cover the oat grain.
The oat polisher has several positive effects on the product: the removal of the hairs (fluff) improves the flow properties as well as hygiene and handling further down the process.
A feed screw transports the product into the working chamber. There, it undergoes gentle mechanical treatment by means of a special rotor enclosed by a screen jacket. A counterweight at the outlet of the machine allows the intensity of friction to be regulated at any time. The detached fluff of the oat grain is discharged from the machine via an aspirated separate outlet.
During post-treatment by means of an aspiration channel, the remaining fluff of the oat grain is removed.
