The LS1501, a laser distance meter, measures distance and speed values without any reflector or without any contact. The distance meter takes only a while to measure distance and speed. It also facilitates distance measurement from or to the moving objects. When great distances have to be measured or an operation is linked to a harsh industrial environment, the laser uses the time-of-flight measurement principle. The laser distance meter, can be easily installed and commissioned due to its compact design and shape. Also, the laser has a simple setup and is configured with standard interfacing facilities. RS232, RS422, SSI and Profibus are available in the laser to make interfacing easier. The standard LS1501 when delivered, includes integral heating, a status display and a sighting device.
