Intelligent Detection Technology IDT® provides optimal detection performance for all ignition sources in any environment and enables the detector to distinguish between dangerous sparks and harmless ambient light. IDT® enables adjustable sensitivity for hot particle detection in high-temperature processes and is also used to prevent false alarms. Typical applications include pneumatic conveyor pipes, near inspection hatches, drop chutes and mechanical conveyors. The detector can be connected to every GreCon TOUCH control console using a standard three-core cable. A range of flexible mounting adapter options exist to suit any environment.
