OverviewThe ROTOFILTER filtration unit treats contaminated oils and coolant lubricants produced by machining operations with swarf removal. Filtration is performed by a self-cleaning drum filter using FAMA technology. A centrifugal pump feeds contaminated coolant from the machine tool into the ROTOFILTER where tailored filter elements separate contaminants. The filtered coolant is continuously discharged to maintain a constant supply to the machine tool. Filter cleaning is automatic and sludge is removed via a dredging evacuation system.
Key product features- Self-cleaning drum filter (FAMA technology)
- Continuous filtered coolant outflow for stable supply to machine tools
- No disposable filter media required
- Automatic sludge evacuation (dredging system)
- Compact footprint
- Designed to protect mechanical components, cutting tools and pumps
Filtration performance (test conditions)Tests carried out with 22 cSt oil and 4% emulsion. Typical data by model:
- FF200 — Filtration degree: 40 μm; 22 cSt oil flow: 70 l/min; 4% emulsion flow: 100 l/min; Storage capacity: 1000 l
- FF400 — Filtration degree: 40 μm; 22 cSt oil flow: 150 l/min; 4% emulsion flow: 200 l/min; Storage capacity: 1500 l
- FF600 — Filtration degree: 40 μm; 22 cSt oil flow: 300 l/min; 4% emulsion flow: 500 l/min; Storage capacity: 2000 l
Available optionals- Magnetic purifier
