Description
TUCANO is a filtering wet vacuum designed for machine-tool tank cleaning. It combines a liquid vacuum with a process filtration unit. A suitably powered pump provides rapid suction of swarf and oil from the machine-tool tank. An AISI steel toothed lance is supplied to assist removal of scaling when present.

Operation
The sucked material enters a patented separator where oil and shavings are separated. Shavings are continuously evacuated and discharged into a bin via the machine's integrated dredging system. Oil passes through a self-cleaning rotary filter that filters down to 50 microns and is collected in an integrated recovered-oil tank with a capacity of about 500 liters. By pressing a button the recovered oil can be returned directly to the machine-tool tank through the supplied regulator without moving the unit. The system allows continuous operation without interruptions due to overloads or accumulated-drain operations and requires no disposable filter media.
