Paring a floating anvil press with a dedicated die allows for automatic standoff height measurement and eliminates changeovers. Complete system shown here consisting of the floating anvil press and floating anvil dedicated die. Automatic Standoff Control patent #4,907,628. A micrometer controls standoff, the system requires 110/1/60 Voltage standard, 220 Voltage optional and 80-100 psi of air pressure.
Features
• Quadpacks are located using the lead frame corners with tapered lead-in for easy loading and unloading.
• The body of the part floats free when the leads are clamped to insure no stress is transferred to the body of the device being formed.
• Floating Anvil System (F-1F series) uses stepper motor controls and microprocessor to automatically position the moveable form anvils each time the press cycles for the most accurate standoff control.
• See the Floating Anvil Sequence of Operation
• Optional semi-automatic handling system is available to move parts from a matrix tray into the tool and out again.
• *For Quads: Tie Bars and/or Tie Bar Corners need to be removed prior to using this model tool.
• *Optional corner cutting for tie bars is available for most Quads.
