Load 100 - 300 Kg STURDY REEL HOLDER WITH IDLE UNWINDING OR BRAKED UNWINDING Very robust reel holder, made of painted tubular steel and equipped with wheels with brake, it supports rolls with a weight of up to 100 kg and allows an operator to carry them out safely. The reel holders are made with the reel axis diameter 60 mm and length up to 2200 mm, very simple to rotate as it is mounted on ball bearings and equipped with cones for locking the reels. Depending on the presence or absence of the brake, the total width of the roll holder is approximately 200/300 mm wider than the useful width. The reel holder axis can be "idle" or "with brake". Reel holder with idle unrolling When the operator pulls the material to unwind it, if he does not pay attention or pulls too hard, he risks unwinding the reel too much as it is not braked. The structure is robust but simple. Reel holder with braked unrolling The reel axle is equipped with an adjustable brake which is always active. When the operator unwinds the material, the brake will make some friction, making sure that the reel does not unwind more than necessary. The metal structure of the model with brake is more complete than the model without brake and also allows the installation of an optional cutting unit. This cutting unit cannot be mounted on the model without brake as it is an integral part of the metal structure, not present on the simple model without braked axle. The model with braked reel axis is also equipped with a rod that allows you to block the film once unwound. We also produce roll holders with high capacities, in this case, the roll holders must be equipped with a pneumatic brake. This allows controlled unwinding of large and heavy rolls. By acting on the pedal, the operator can manage the unwinding of the desired amount of material without effort.
