Controller for adhesive application systems SPLITTER

Splitter is an adhesive pattern generator that produces intermittent 24 V activation signals to reduce adhesive consumption and enable easy integration with MICRON+ platforms. It automatically calculates activation patterns to achieve a user-selected adhesive savings percentage via the MICRON+ touchscreen, without modifying the customer's PLC.

Compatibility and integration

• Available for MICRON+ ECO and MICRON+ melter ranges.
• Full integration and configuration within the MICRON+ platform; setup performed via the integrated MICRON+ touch panel (7" touchscreen).

Operation and programming

• The operator selects the desired adhesive savings percentage; Splitter calculates the intermittent 24 V output pattern required to reach that objective.
• Programming is performed through the MICRON+ 7" touchscreen; no changes to the customer's PLC are required.

Working modes

• Repetitive saving: for continuous production of identical products with constant dimensions. Default pattern: bead/dotted/bead; advanced settings allow full pattern customization.
• Variable saving: for mixed production with varying dimensions. Pattern: dotted along the length; dot size adjustable via TON (pulse duration).
