Description

Profiles such as flights, longitudinal profiles and sidewalls ensure that Siegling Fullsan belts can be used for specific conveying and processing applications. Fitting them with flights and sidewalls, improves the grip of conveyor belts. Fullsan belts with these types of profiles are excellent at conveying bulk materials and small items at inclined or steep angles. We offer a range of profiles in various shapes and sizes that are tailored to the conveying task concerned. Seven of our global fabrication centers have the appropriate equipment, including HF (High Frequency) welding tools for Positive Drive/Center Drive and relevant accessories for profile processing. Compared to other technologies such as hot air, hot wedge or pulse welding, HF welding offers a much stronger weld. This weld is not only outstandingly robust, but also airtight and watertight. Therefore, HF welding is the best choice for applications that place stringent demands on service life and tight welds. Flights (PU-flights) To meet specific requirements, extruded polyurethane flights can be applied to the top face of Fullsan belts. There are various versions geared to the application concerned. The following profiles are available: SF-T, SF-SB (Short Bent), SF-B (Bent), SF-SS (Small Scoop) and SF-S (Scoop). SF stands for small foot. The flights were designed to take hygiene into account. The rounded edges facilitate cleaning and comply with various organizations’ hygiene recommendations. The flights come in heights of 25 mm (1 inch) to 150 mm (6 inches), in increments of 1 inch.
