Durable and easy-to-make splicing methods and practical tools are required for belts to operate perfectly. The air-cooled Blizzard SHP (Slim Heating Press) is our own tailormade heating press for homogenous belts. It stands for superior hygiene, dependability and longevity. Its air-cooling functionality and easy-to-use control unit mean it’s not just state of the art but also exceptionally user friendly. The ends of the belt are melted slightly and then welded together. The carcass of the belts remains enclosed so that no bacteria etc. can migrate. Fullsan can, of course, also be spliced with mechanical fasteners. Mechanical fasteners allow exchange of the belt in just a few minutes without dismantling parts of the conveyor. As a result, disruptions to the production process are only minimal.
