Description

Product overview
The K3890 is a micro dual-channel absolute pressure-decay leak tester designed for integration on automated test lines handling very small internal volumes. Its miniaturized form factor enables installation close to the DUT to reduce parasitic volume and shorten cycle times.

Key features
  • Compact footprint: 110×110×110 mm
  • Two independent channels for parallel testing
  • Optimized for micro-volumes up to 50 cc
  • 3.5" color display (320×240 px) for local control
  • Standard interfaces: USB (master), RS232, RS485; Ethernet and Bluetooth optional

Application sectors
  • Automation and assembly lines
  • Test benches and end-of-line inspection
  • Medical device manufacturing (micro components)
  • Packaging and quality control of small parts

Detailed description
Miniaturized bi-channel concept
The K3890 integrates two independent measurement channels in an ultra-compact housing to enable parallel leak tests and increase throughput on automatic machines.

Direct integration and reduced cycle times
With its 110×110×110 mm dimensions the unit can be mounted close to the tested part, minimizing dead volumes and significantly reducing test duration while improving repeatability.

Performance on micro-volumes
Internal low-consumption micro-valves and optimized pneumatic design make the K3890 suitable for filling and testing volumes up to 50 cc with very fast cycles and high resolution.

Industrial design and integrated interface
Anodized aluminum chassis with a plexiglass front panel houses the 3.5" color display, providing clear local feedback in compact industrial format.

Connectivity and Industry 4.0 protocols
Standard connectivity includes USB, RS232 and RS485. Ethernet (Modbus-RTU or ForTest) and Bluetooth modules are available to integrate the unit into supervision systems.

Flexible management and programming
Configuration via dedicated PC software or USB flash drive. The unit can operate stand-alone using digital I/O for cycle control (Start/Abort) and result/program handling.

Measurement range
Selectable scales cover -1 to 10 bar to support applications from vacuum testing to standard pressure ranges.
