AQUAFIX is an acrylic water based adhesive in paste, fast setting, suitable for high resistant bonding between nmaterials like wood, masonry, concrete, plaster, plastic laminate, metals, rigid foams. For its filling characteristics it is suitable for bonding uneven surfaces. Typical uses • For bonding matchboards, wooden panels, plastic laminates to masonry. • For fixing skirting boards, staff angles, staff beads of doors and windows. • For bonding tiles, rigid foam panels, repairs of floor made of wood and carpet. Properties Composition : acrylic copolymers in water dispersion and inert fillers Consistency : tixotropic paste Meccanismo di presa : by evaporation of water Colour : white Packaging : cod. 1004507 310 ml. cartridge cod. 1004512 1,5 Kg. jar Technical data Specific gravity : 1,45 Application temperature : over + 5°C Open time : 30 min. Service temperature range : from -20°C to +80°C Curing time : 24-48 hours (indicative value at 20°C, for application onto porous materials) Method of use Surface preparation: the surfaces must be dry, free from dust and grease. Use a brush to remove crumbly parts. Application: when assembling profiles spread onto one side a continuous or dotted bead of product, then join applying a suitable pressure. For panels the application must be done along the perimeter and in the middle of surface. Assemble within 15 minutes and press all the surface. Owing to the consistency of the adhesive it is possible to make adjustments for a correct position within a few minutes after application.
