The Fumex FTE is a radial fan series developed for applications with high concentrations of dust-laden air. The fan housing and impeller are made of heavy-gauge steel sheet for industrial use, and the impeller is welded with straight blades to reduce the risk of imbalance when handling large dust volumes. This helps minimize the risk of bearing damage in demanding operating conditions.

Compared with many similar products, the FTE has greater spacing between the blades, creating a more open design that can handle larger particles and high concentrations of dust-laden air. This makes the FTE series a suitable choice for workplaces where filter units cannot be installed in the extraction system.

The outlet direction can be changed easily by rotating the fan housing, and the fans are optimized for use together with the Fumex range of source extraction products and automatic control systems in industrial environments. The series is available in several versions, with airflow capacities up to 6600 m³/h (1830 l/s).

To meet CE requirements, the fan must be equipped with a safety switch and overcurrent protection. For speed control, Fumex refers to a separate product sheet for control equipment. Sheet metal parts are available in stainless steel, powder-coated or electro-galvanized execution depending on version and application.
