The Fumex CV is a flexible modular filter designed for particles and gas. In its basic version, the filter can be dimensioned to handle fumes from one workstation, while multiple CV filters can be connected in parallel to serve several workstations in the same system. The sturdy mounting profile makes installation simple and also facilitates service and maintenance.

The system offers high flexibility, from a simple disposable filter solution to versions with compressed-air cleaning. It can also combine particle and gas filtration in the same unit, or be used purely as a gas filter, depending on the application.

For particle filtration, the CVP version uses a cleanable polyester filter cartridge with compressed-air cleaning. A pre-filter, CVM, is placed on the inlet channel to protect the cartridge from large particles. This makes the CVP suitable for applications with large amounts of dry particles such as dust and welding fumes in engineering industries.

For gas filtration, the carbon filter module is designed to provide effective adsorption, and airflow over the filter module should not exceed 500 m³/h for best efficiency. For higher airflow, two or more modules can be mounted in parallel. If the contaminated air also contains particles, a particle filter should be placed before the carbon filter cartridge.

The Fumex CV provides a practical and adaptable filtration solution for source extraction systems where requirements may range from dry particle filtration to combined particle and gas filtration in industrial environments.
