The ROTATING DISTRIBUTOR is an accessory machine used to separate the product from a single inbound stream to two or more identical outbound streams. Differently from the mixer distributors, the rotating distributor cannot collect product and cannot dose, it just splits the main stream in multiple parts. This machine can have different shapes, according to the height available and to the kind of product to be split. Sometimes it can be similar to horizontal screw conveyors (GDOR) and separate the product in two identical parts; this kind of rotating distributor is normally used to split and send the stream to two channels of a plansifter. Il can also be composed of a rotating bend with a horizontal axis (GDRV) that, during the rotation, diverts the inbound product on three or more exits. Either way the motorization is coaxial to the rotation shaft. Upon request, it can be done with transmission chain and sprockets. As for all the G&AS machines, the ROTATING DISTRIBUTOR can be personalised and changed in dimensions and characteristics, according to the needs of spaces, the placement of loading and unloading points and, above all, depending on the capacity and type of product flow. It can be equipped of side hatches for inspections and cleaning.
