Overview: Galvatek’s MTSu/MTSt float switches provide a simple, robust and economical solution for regulating and monitoring liquid levels in industrial tanks and vessels. Based on the movement of a magnetic float, these devices are intended for use in liquids with a low risk of fouling. Multiple configurations are available, including up to four changeover contacts and an optional integrated temperature probe.

Operating principle:

• Movement of a magnetic float actuates a reed contact within the float guide rod.

Available configurations:

• 1, 2, 3 or 4 changeover contacts.
• Optional integrated Pt100 temperature sensor (available on plastic models with up to 3 contacts).

Materials:

• Resistant plastics: polypropylene (PP) and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) for corrosive environments.
• Stainless steel: grade 1.4571 / AISI 316 Ti for enhanced corrosion resistance.

Protection:

• PG version: IP64 (protection against water splashes).
• LC and LC-L versions: IP65 (protection against water jets).

Maximum operating temperature:

• Plastic: 80°C (PP), 100°C (PVDF).
• Stainless steel: 100°C.

Nominal length: up to 3000 mm.
