UL and CSA certified TEFC motor UL and CSA certified TEFC motors with permanently sealed ball bearings offer increased protection against weather, dirt, and moisture. Permanently sealed ball bearings incorporate polyurea grease, which extends bearing life and offers superior resistance to washout, rust, and corrosion. Thermal protection Thermal over load protection protects motor windings from damage should the blower become stalled during operation. Additionally, thermal over load protection switches automatically reset when single-phase motor windings cool to a safe level of operation. Cast iron blower housing and cover Cast iron blower housing and cover make for a rugged construction. Pilot duty overload protection Motors are equipped with pilot duty thermal overload protection that when properly wired to a motor starter limits the motor winding temperature rise.
