Fieldbus systems, Ethernet, IO-Link are already part of the industrial field and simplify the structure of automation systems. The universally applicable modular bus system (MBS) facilitates the integration of control elements in machine controls and systems. With the MBS, up to 128 command points can be controlled and operated. With the MBS, operator panels or control devices can be equipped quickly, flexibly and with less cabling effort.
Each bus-specific basic module and bus independend expansion module has space for up to 8 pushbuttons or switches which can be arranged in 3 different grids (25 mm, 27 mm or 30 mm).
Changing to another network or bus system can be done simply and quickly by changing the basic module.
Thanks to the modular system, standardised components can be combined with customised solutions in the MBS. Due to the system's modularity, the design can be adapted individually.
The MBS IO-Link modules include the following functions: Operating hours meter, monitoring of switching cycles, hardware monitoring, monitoring for failure of the illumination, dimming or night design. The IO-Link specific status indication shows the status of the connection. It supports the IO-Link specification 1.1.2 and ports of Class A and B. Operating temperature is -10°C to 50 °C, system voltage is 24 V. Both are provided via the IO-Link master.
The MBS is available for the following systems: AS-Interface, CANopen, Profibus, EtherCAT, Profinet I/O, Ethernet IP, IO-Link and Powerlink.
