The Schlegel RFID systems are based on the principle of contactless communication via radio waves. Electromagnetic waves are the basis of RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification) which can be used to control machines or to manage access authorisations.
Data exchange is done via a transponder (tag), converting the waves into electrical signals. This small amount of energy is enough to transfer the stored data to a reading/writing unit and to process it.
The applications for RFID systems are very diverse, simple, flexible, secure and reliable, but there are also different demands on the system.
The advantages of RFID are among others the easy and quick integration into processes and systems, secure contactless communication via globally unique UID transponders, extensive application possibilities in industrial environments and other sectors, and high reliability due to their wear-free, extremely robust and insensitive nature to environmental influences.
The data can be processed by the SCHLEGEL RFID systems Standard, SKS or TMS.
