Product OverviewThe GHT AirHC1000 is a compact EPP-insulated duct post-heater and cooler engineered for ventilation systems with airflows up to 1000 m³/h (588 CFM). Suitable for residential, commercial and Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) applications. Designed for flexible installation downstream of HRV/ERV units or as a standalone supply air device, and compatible with water or glycol heat transfer media for sub-freezing climates.
Key Features- Capacity: Up to 19 kW heating and 9 kW cooling.
- Wide operating range: EPP-insulated housing enabling reliable operation from -30°C to +60°C (-22°F to +140°F).
- Dual filter slots: Two integrated compartments for filters, removing the need for external filter boxes.
- Flexible integration: Install as a post-heater/cooler after HRV/ERV, in a supply air duct with a fan, or within a glycol-based loop for freeze protection.
Installation & DrainageDuct connection: DN250 (Ø250 mm). Condensate drain connection: 5/4" (Ø63 mm) located below the unit. Compact footprint for easy mounting in supply ductwork.
Notes on UseIn climates with regular winter temperatures below 0°C (32°F) and where no HRV is present, use a glycol (antifreeze) solution to protect the internal heat exchanger from freezing. Glycol operation preserves reliability during prolonged low-temperature periods and minimizes maintenance risks.
