DescriptionThe Microcal 1 is a handheld thermocouple simulator designed to generate selectable simulated temperatures for testing thermocouple inputs on temperature recorders, programmers and controllers. It supports types K, J, T, R, N, S and E and removes the need for external conversion tables or complex ambient compensation procedures.
ApplicationsUsed for on-site verification and recalibration of temperature measurement and control instrumentation in manufacturing, laboratory and field service environments. Ideal for routine maintenance, quality control checks and pre-shipment verification of devices with thermocouple inputs.
Features- Custom 10 mm LCD with alphanumeric prompt line to guide parameter changes
- Selectable settings: auto power-off (enable/disable), cold junction compensation (internal/external), display contrast adjustment
- Standard 1 metre PVC insulated Type K thermocouple lead with miniature connector supplied
- Supplied with UKAS Certificate of Calibration showing deviations at calibration points
- Optional lead set available (sold separately): seven 1 m PVC insulated leads, one for each thermocouple type K, J, T, R, N, S and E, each with two miniature thermocouple plugs
