Description
The SW12V auto pin welder is a capacitance-discharge spot welding unit designed to attach pins and wires to workpieces. It provides two selectable energy ranges to handle a variety of pin and wire sizes and can be powered from a rechargeable battery or from mains 110V AC (optional 230V AC).

Applications

• Attaching thermal insulation pins where banding wire or steel tape cannot be used.
• Welding thermocouple wires using the lower energy range.
• Field and workshop use requiring portable, battery-capable spot welding.

• Operation: select required energy and switch On; unit charges until 'Ready' and performs an automatic spot weld on contact, preceded by three short beeps and one long beep; unit then auto-recharges for the next weld.
