Description

Product introduction
W203 2.0 is developed on the electrolytic test principle and is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 21529, ISO 15106-3 and other international standards. It measures water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) of samples under controlled temperature and humidity and is intended for barrier films and sheets used in displays, photovoltaics, chip packaging, pharmaceuticals, food packaging and related industries.

Test principle
W203 2.0 uses the electrolytic method: the pre-treated sample is mounted between wet and dry chambers; humidified nitrogen flows on the wet side and dry nitrogen (carrier gas) on the dry side at a set flow. Water vapor permeating through the sample is carried by the dry nitrogen to an electrolytic sensor; WVTR is calculated from the sensor electrical signal.
