Description

Description
This processing line is designed to perform continuous preparation, cleaning, sizing and final quality control of bulk field vegetables (potatoes, carrots, peas, broccoli, etc.) before entry into IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) tunnels. The fully integrated modules operate in a defined engineering sequence to ensure consistent feed to the IQF tunnel while maintaining product integrity and minimizing waste.

Process sequence and technical advantages:
  • Air separator for dry pre-cleaning: Initial separator uses controlled vacuum/blowing to remove light leaves, fine stems and field dust before wet processing, protecting downstream equipment from blockages.
  • Ergonomic inspection belt (primary sorting): Debris-reduced product is transferred to an ergonomically positioned sorting line where damaged, heavily bruised or defective items are removed prior to washing.
  • Drum brush and universal dual-wash systems: Drum brushing removes stubborn soil and clods. The following universal washer applies water turbulence/air injection to clean product contours thoroughly for hygienic results.
  • Standardized, low-waste slicing/cutting: Washed vegetables are sized into target formats (cubes, strips, rings, etc.) by precision cutting units to deliver uniform pieces that freeze evenly in the IQF tunnel.
  • Optical sorter (final quality control): Sliced product passes through a high‑technology sorter that identifies and ejects discolored or non‑standard pieces with air jets, ensuring only first‑grade items enter the IQF tunnel.
  • Seamless IQF feeding (individualized loading): Conveying systems feed approved pieces into the IQF tunnel without clumping or adhesion, preventing block formation during freezing.
  • 304‑grade stainless steel construction across the line: Frames, wash tanks, blade assemblies and conveyors are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel to withstand cold environments, continuous water exposure and food-regulatory requirements.

Technical specifications
  • Application: Preparation, cleaning, sizing and quality control prior to IQF tunnel freezing
  • Line components: Air separator, ergonomic inspection belt, drum brush washer, universal turbulent washer, slicing/cutting units, optical sorter, hygienic conveyor systems
