Description

Overview
The MPS-HWA handheld laser welding machine delivers precise, clean welds with minimal rework. Designed for multi-angle, portable operation, it achieves significantly higher welding speed and efficiency than traditional argon arc welding. The unit offers high welding accuracy, fast cycle times, low emissions, broad material compatibility and a short operator learning curve (operators can be trained from zero in approximately 30 minutes). In many applications the process can use common compressed air as shielding gas and produces no harmful exhaust.

Key features
  • Independently developed laser welding head: compact construction with high positional accuracy.
  • Easy to operate and quick to learn: compact footprint, intuitive controls and short training time.
  • Multi-dimensional welding capability: eliminates the need for precision welding tables, reduces consumables and lowers operating and maintenance costs.
  • Labor and time savings: handheld laser welding is 5–10× faster than traditional welding methods; one machine can replace multiple welders annually. Weld seams are smooth, reducing polishing time and cost.
  • High-quality results: minimal thermal deformation and virtually no welding scars; strong, reliable joints.
  • Safety features: contact safety prevents accidental emission; welding only activates when the copper nozzle contacts the workpiece and the switch is pressed. Laser protective goggles are supplied and must be worn during operation.
  • Welding head: copper nozzle contact plus button switch required to start welding, preventing unintended emission.
  • Interchangeable welding nozzles: copper nozzles available for different weld profiles.
  • Full automatic wire feeder: compatible with welding wire diameters 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm and 1.6 mm.
  • Laser goggles: protective eyewear suitable for multiple laser types; comfortable and reliable.
