Separation PrincipleSeparation is driven by a partial-pressure difference across the membrane. In suitable hydrogen-containing mixtures, hydrogen typically permeates faster than larger or slower-permeating species, producing a hydrogen-enriched permeate while heavier or slower components remain on the high-pressure side. Final separation performance depends on feed composition, pressure, temperature, flow rates, product specification and recovery targets.
Typical Applications- Refinery & Petrochemical Off-Gas: Recover a hydrogen-enriched stream from hydrogen-containing off-gas for reuse or further processing, subject to downstream requirements.
