The YANMAR HYW-9 T6 diesel engine is characterized by its 9,8 kW prp rated output (10,7 kW on standby) and indirect fuel injection type. It is water cooled, capable of a four-stroke cycle rate, and has a standard voltage of 480/277 V. The engine utilizes an indirect injection system, and has a displacement capacity of 1,116 L. It has notably efficient fuel consumptions rates: 3.09 l/h on standby mode, 2,80 l/h at 100% fuel consumption, and 1.74 l/h at 50% fuel consumption. The engine comes in models with either 3.5 L or 3.7 L oil capacities. The series may be used with lubricants complying with SAE 3 class 10W30 / API grade CD,CF standards.
