Advanced AC Drive System
The EH5000AC-3 integrates an Advanced Hitachi Construction Machinery AC Drive System designed and manufactured by the same producer as the truck, enabling an integrated propulsion architecture. The AC Drive System delivers increased top speeds and stronger electric braking. AC wheel motors are engineered for reduced maintenance, higher availability and faster travel speeds, supporting improved productivity and lower operating cost per tonne.

Overview
The operator environment features a large, centrally mounted colour display for straightforward control and monitoring. The cab uses double-wall construction to improve structural rigidity and reduce vibration. The truck suspension and trailing arm layout maintain manoeuvrability at higher travel speeds while simplifying service access. Coolant, grease, hydraulic and engine oil points are reachable at ground level for faster maintenance cycles.
